Transparencies, S3O's and Windowed mode

This happened to me playing Zacom beach in windowed mode.

try turning on shadows, i think i heard that is what fixes it

The alpha value stored in S3O textures can never be used without shaders, so you need to have enabled shaders (either using shadows, or with unit reflections turned on), to get transparency
