FPS Unit control has aiming problems

I've noticed that when directly controlling a unit, it won't allow the player to aim between north and east, though all the other directions are fine.
Mod XTA 8.1 and BA 4.41 I know of for sure.

Manual aiming sucks... I mean, there is NO WAY you can be more efficient than the ai at shooting...

You dipwad. If you used auto fire, where would the fun in that be? Besides, you can't use auto fire in Com Shooter becuz the main weapon is a dgun.

Depends. A weapon of the type DISINTEGRATOR without noexplode will fly far beyond the weapon's range. You could snipe an enemy across the map if he doesn't move while your units could be restricted to shooting at stuff right in their face.

actually, all the long range units i build are in "hold possition" because of the poor aiming ai.
And many times using a sniper in fps is much more effective than letting it shot radar blips.
