Blue Screens and no krogoths

Hi, i am having some rather discombombulated problems. When I play TA against a bot, it will crash and give me a blue screen. It tells me the system has encountered a serious error and needs to shut down. Last time I tried this, I got a message after reboot that said "media error - check cable." This error only occurs in TA when I encounter too much opposition from the bot, or invade its territory too far. System used is a notebook running xp pro. Mobile p4 3.33 ghz, and 128 mb shared ram on ati mobility radeon 9000 igp. 1.37 gb system ram...
Another problem is that there are NO krogoths or expiremental gantries in AA spring, and no Krogoths in Kuro, though there is an expiremental gantry there. I get ai exception errors in AA Spring, but Kuro works just fine. AI used is NTAI as no other ai successfully loads. Mods have been removed and redownloaded.
Any clues anybody?

I think you're using NTai XE7.5,
http://www.darkstars.co.uk , try XE9RC19.

Can an AI cause a BSOD? Usually that's caused by busted drivers or hardware.

Sometimes when a program crashes with no exception handling it can cause a crash.
NTai XE7.5 was bundled with spring despite newer versions being available, and XE7.5 is old and buggy, it doesnt have the stability or exception handling of XE9 or XE8, so it's important people update NTai to the latest version.

Spring seems to hate ATI. I don't care what any of you say, Spring crashes on all three of my ATI cards. Although, Only one of those is actually good :/

It's the other way around. Ati hates Spring. Mostly because Spring is opensource.

1.36GB ram sounds nasty, assymetric RAM configurations are bad.
You want 2x 256 ro 2x 512 or 2x1024.
(2x 512)+ (1x 1024) < (2x 1024)
that helped

I now have krogoths and no crashes, but i am now experiencing delayed sync responses whenever the enemy is encountered. This occurs about every five seconds, and causes the whole game to become jerky

AF, why not code an autoupdater with next NTAI ver?

it'd involve java.
That and nobody would bother running the java updater

I'm guessing ATI doesn't really care if TA: Spring exists or not. OpenGL on the other side...
That said, TA: Spring runs perfectly on my ATI card. and it ran pretty good on an outdated mobility card too.

hmm, I'm baffled that people are trying to extract an installer into the spring directory then start spring.exe.
Run the installer.
