Possible bug with capturing units

Twice i've had a bug happen to me where i can no longer control my units or chat, and the game just keeps happening in front of me, but i cant do anything.
Like being in spectator mode but i cant see anything extra.
The two times this has happened are games I used Core Commandos (First time in AA2.2 and then in BA4.7.
I've only used commandos about 4 times and 2 of those times this bug has occured, so I'm guessing they are somehow connected.
