My system:

All settings switched to minimal, 640x480, 'in window'.
Can't play, cause 'RtsSpring'-window didn't run

Screen:

can you run the application directly (spring test) you have to use the arrow keys to select the options, choose global ai test (testglobalai.dll) then a map and the mod xta.

let us know whether that works and we might be able to help.

Spring test doesn't work, with testglobalai.dll too.
I can choose any settings, but when i press Start 'RtsSpring'-window starts and... die =) just mouse-cursor change type to black arrow. 'RtsSpring'-window doesn't reply to any clicks.

- sustained, but please please don't start that war here!

OK, so you just get a black screen we need more info such as what operating system you are on and what graphics card you have. Also any information about error messages etc... A black screen isn't all that helpful, did you get the menu from which you select the options? Please can you put up screen shots of you doing this...
