Hello everybody. I write this topic because, I had a problem with Spring since i change my Graphic card.
With some ATI cards (9600 and 9800), Spring reboots after some minutes.
If you have an ATI and an Asus mobo, its maybe, a solution to follow my advices:

Get a more powerful power-supply if you haven't, and update your mobo BIOS.
I have an Asus A7V600 X, and it seems it has compatibility problem with 9600 on 3DMark, and makes the computer reboots (same as spring).
So, i tried to update the Bios, and to be sure, i disabled the Fastwrite in the bios. And now, Spring works correctly (I played more than 1h20 with no crash.).

Sorry If this solution has ever been proposed, but this topic is easier to find, and the answer is here, and you don't have to search in an other, with very much messages ect...

Sorry for my bad English too ^^. And good luck :-)

I've a bad news :(
Today, at 1h00, i began to play Spring, but unfortunatly, about 5minutes of game, my computer restarted, so, did my new settings don't affect any more about this?
I saw my room lights flick when I use my computer on evening :-/ :P .
Maybe is it just a power problem, but i don't think everybody have flicking lights when they play TA, and make their PC reboots. lol

Ack. Spring used to always reboot on my old 9600 (loved that card). I had an MSI mobo, but at least I know the video card was the problem now.

ok. And did you try a BIOS update? have you got another graphic card?
If you know people having this problem or have solved it, can you tell them to post on this topic pls?

I'll try to play again, to see if the crash was just a coincidence. Or maybe it depends of the map which is played (I was on "AfterShock" when it happen).
Then if that crash again, i'll try after switching on the fastwrite.
