Spring RTS Engine

I'm not sure if it's an issue with trying to get AAI to play Com Shooter, or if it's something else. But AAI no longer functions. If I switch over to it and tell the commander to "stop" he reclaims an area around his start and then is completely unresponsive afterwards. If I don't tell him to stop, he won't do anything at all.

I used to get an error message when I quit, shame I didn't think to write it down until after it stopped appearing. It was some sort of violation, not a crash as much as a box that had some text and said "ok" as it's only option.

Anyone have any idea what I'm talking about? Or should I just reinstall and start over.

I don't know, a friend of mine recently told me it stopped working with AA 2.23 as well.
