Computer Freeze (Spring v.74b1)

About 10-15 minutes into the game, my computer will lock up. The sound card is usually repeating (stuttering) some sound effect, the battle-screen is frozen, and the computer is non-responsive. I have to reboot. I had no problems with the previous version of Spring that I had installed; this has started only when I upgraded to .74b1. The Spring log file, has no information that is useful.
Any suggestions? :)
I will do further testing, when I get back home after work.

AMD 64 3500+
1GB RAM
80GB HD (4 GB disk free)
Linksys WMP54G "Wireless-G" PCI Card
Using on-board A8N-SLI built-in sound
ASUS A8N-SLI Motherboard
Leadtek Nvidia 6600GT (PCI-Xpress)
DSL Router:
Linksys "Wireless-G" WRT54G
Any suggestions? :)
