Spring RTS Engine

heya, all..........
I'm very new to TA Spring, but it looks great. My prob is, I downloaded it , played the newb set against ai bot........then went looking for more maps and mods. After I installed a couple of new maps and mods, (aa..a couple of versions, Gundam, xta 8, aliens, etc, and a bunch of other just maps) I started getting a diff error code for each of them.....including the original that came with spring. I have deleted all files, including downloads, and re-downloaded TA Spring..........with no new mods or maps, but they are still showing up, and still have the error codes.

So, anyone happen to have any ideas? I'm lost here, and would really like to play this

You downloaded and replaced XTA 8.1 with XTA 8?

reinstall spring to get the proper version of XTA.


btw you only need the latest AA 2.23 or balanced Annihilation 4.1, downloading old versions is blasphemous and is nothing but dead weight.

I recommend nanoblobz, EE 1.7beta 4, and CvC.
