Can connect, gets rejected

Post by PhakeDC »

Hello, I'm currently using build 0.72b1 along with the newest lobby server, and both are enabled on Windows Firewall (DSL router has all ports open by default), I can initially connect to servers, but I immediately get kicked out. I tried registering a new account, but the same error happens. Today I download the LAN server and made it run, configured the multiplayer battleroom to connect to localhost:82000. It doesn't connect at all. I tried using an IP of 10.0.0.1 (which the switch gives me when I'm out of my home domain, since the Server is offline most of the time), again to no avail. I want to play offline skirmishes, but it seems a no-go regardless how many times I try. Do I need IIS or Apache or something? Kailera works fine on the LAN, so I'm surprised this one hasn't! Thanks for any help.

Code: Select all

[18:11:19] Connection established to fnord.clan-sy.com
[18:11:30] Error: Server sent unknown or invalid command!
[18:11:30] Connection to server closed!

Get 0.73b1 from the download page and install that (after uninstalling 0.72b1). Should fix your issues. Or get a newer version of the lobby client. Dunno if it's available on http://fileuniverse.com or http://unknown-files.net.

Thanks to you both it works now ;) Btw is there a way to work around the mouse scroll button since I don't have one? I tried using Tab, but I can't control anything from up there!

Page up + page down are equivalent to rolling the wheel, and J is equivalent to clicking it.

Thanks, certainly handier than using a mouse emulator (needless to say GRAW gave me a headache since it didn't even support that!)
