Enable TA:spring for limited account users

WHen working with a XP limited account, you are unable to write to program files directory. This limits playing TA, as you regularly need to update mods or maps (i.e. download them into the program files folder).
Could TAspring be altered to store mods and maps in the user profile (i believe this is accesable to a limited user). Something like this is probably also needed for windows Vista as everybody gets a limited account by default.
Thanks.

I don't have admin, it works fine for me. Just don't use the program files folder to install to.

There is nothing wrong with installing in the program files directory. Putting the maps and mods there is a different thing.

You've got two options: a) logon as admin or b) intall it into your account directory.

The framework is there: Spring on linux takes user settings and seperated read/write directories into account. Someone is needed to implement it for Windows.

Well, I have a little VB.net skill. But probably far too little to implement such a thing and TA is probably not written in vb.net
I really hope someone will pick this up.
Also, i think some settings files also need to be moved to the user space, when you start the TA multiplayer lobby under a limited account, a couple of red lines show up of files which could not be loaded.
