Spring RTS Engine

before you all say to go look at other topics, I did. all the previous topics I can find about lan servers assume that lanserver.bat works correctly and are for problems occuring after it has been started.

when I run lanserver.bat a command prompt window opens for half a second and then closes. if I open the command prompt window myself and then run it, it gives the error 'java' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

I have java installed. I'm running windows XP x64 SP1. TASpring 0.73b1

What if you replace java by the path to java.exe, ie. C:\Program Files\Javathingie\java.exe (or whereever it is) ?

woot! Tobi, you rock. I replaced it with
C:\Progra~2\Java\jre1.5.0_06\bin\java.exe
and it worked! now to go get some of the guys to come play :D
