thats ALOT of effin grass and geos...
I know geo's can have issues with maps.... I'm not very good with maps and geo problems... but erm...
I dunno...
I wish I knew what it needs to work...
you could try a temporary 4x4 test map with 1 of every feature you have on that map to make sure that they features you have are not borked.
then without changing the fs.txt file or the tdf files, remove the features down to ONLY 1 *.s3o in the package at a time, make sure it loads on EACH feature... and if one of them won't load, its a bad feature...
and if its the barbwire... (though I doubt) I'll see if I can fix it.
so yeah,
1) - ask some GOOD mapper about the geovents (there's alot) and if that might be the problem...
2) - test all the features on a SMALL testmap (your map size might be causing the issue) I know maps that aren't square sometimes, if not a hex multiple 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, etc. will be buggy..
3) - try the map in spring with only one feature on it at a time (you don't need to recompile, if the model is gone spring throws a "unknown feature" error and keeps loading I.E. on my severnaya industrial map, its waiting for MORE features to get done still...)
4) - check the SMD file for the map, make sure you don't have negative sun direction or a type-o or something... these can, and will, usually crash maps
5) - make sure on the batch you compiled the map on, that you DO NOT CHANGE any of the filenames... (this usually just makes maps turn salmon pink though, not crash)
also, when you try to launch the map in spring.. what error do you get?
also, I've never used the featuremap to place trees (with green though I know there are only 2 tree types, maybe only green 215 and 214 work??)... meh, if you want... (just cause I need to do it anyways, I've planned on it) give me a screenshot or two or twenty of some "trees" you'd like to use on the map... and I'll whip some up.... (you'll have to use them as red dot features.. but it'll work)
