80 gig SATA
Sapphire Radeon X1600 256mb

Mine has been continously upgraded since 2002.

Version 1
MSI Via KT400 Mobo
AMD AthlonXP 2200+
512 MB Ram
eVGA Geforce4 TI4600
Audigy2 Audio
56K Modem <-- LOL! XD

Version 2
First MOBO died, replaced with
Shuttle AN35 nVidia nForce2
Ram upgraded to 768MB <--Reason for death of first mobo (i forgot to ground myself :x)

Version 3
Wanted Pixel Shader 2 and Vertex Shader 2 tech, so i bought an ATI Radeon 9600XT <--Not bad, but had its limitations :P

Version 4
Upon buying HL2, I discovered that my faithful 2200+ was getting kinda sluggish.
Fortunately, a friend was building a new computer and I helped him buy parts from New Egg, when they arrived he showed up at my appartment saying that his processor wasn't with the rest of his stuff. (I was foolish to think that he may not realize how small the processor box would be, but i believed him at any rate. So i told him to phone new egg and have them reship him the processor.)
When the new processor arrived, he seemed rather flabberghasted. I ask what the problem was. He said that there was another small box like that one he had already. I was like ORLY??? >_>
Apparently he thought the first box that the first processor arrived in was a space filler, he never bothered to look inside. O_o;;
Well, instead of being an honest man and returning the second processor, i was all like. "Welllll, since u don't need TWOO processors, u think maybe u could gimme the other one??? I am kinda due for an upgrade.
>_>
<_<
The processor was an AthlonXP 3000+ Barton Core, I was filled with much glee to see that my AN35 would use it. And so i played HL2 and CSS with much joy and satisfaction.
On a side not. I must say that New Egg is one of the coolest companies evar!

Version 5 - Current Version
Well after all the fun with HL2 and CSS, and all other such things, the Radeon was really starting to show its age, especially as i was playing Spring more and more often. So upon returning home from a long stay in Oklahoma (worst place EVAR!!! If you can avoid ever being there, DO SO)
i decided to return to my old friends eVGA. I then bought the fastest AGP version of the 7 series. (don't remember what its called cause I'm sick of memorizing all their fucking model names.)

Well thats the story of my baby. She's still with me today, and even tho she's like almost 5 years old, she still keeps up with the other more modern machines, so i hope she can handle SUPCOM :x

Athlon XP2700+
1024MB DDR400
GeForce 7800GS (AGP)
ViewSonic VP2030b
1 160GB SATA drive (a Seagate with the highest MTBF I could afford)
1 40GB ATA drive (it's a Maxtor, of course)
430W power supply by Antec, to keep it all working, and a case with 3 120mm fans and good airflow to keep it all ultra-stable. I used to run caseless, but I got tired of the noise.

By today's standards, the rig's a little slow. When the processor wars get a little farther, it's going to be reeeaaallly slllloooooow. But right now, it's just fine compared to most people's rigs, and all I had to do for the last upgrade cycle was upgrade the GPU and the power supply. I'm sitting out the current-gen techwars and am waiting for the DX10.5 generation of hardware before I bother investing seriously in hardware again- so sometime next year.

Epox 8NPA (nForce 4)
AMD 3200 64bit
ATI x800 GTO 256MB
512DDR PC4000
Maxtor 200GB SATA
Maxtor 250GB SATA
Audigy 2ZS

The bit that sucks most on this machine is the ram, but I really can't afford to get a worthwhile upgrade so I'm stuck with this unitill at least christmass, when I can see how much loan I've got left.

I do hope you enjoy your excellent technology for the next 2 months, before it becomes hopelessly obsolete with quad-core CPUs and dx10 graphics cards, neither of which will even be compatible with this new motherboard.

Aren't they cancelling quad cores for the moment due to the lack of support?

Spring computer:

2.8 Ghz Pentuim 4
2 x 512 MB PC 3200 RAM
GeForce FX 5200

But it's the family computer, not mine. Mine include:

-A 15 year old (at least) mac with a black and white screen. I play simlife on it.
-A 10 year old Win95 laptop with a 133 Mhz Pentium 1 proccessor, 16 MB of RAM, 1.6 GB hard drive. I used to play Starcraft and TA on it. I am currently working on getting it to work with Linux.
-A Win2000 Dell without a power cord, monitor, keyboard, or mouse. It has a Pentium 4, and the AGP has something made by "ATI technologies," but that's about all I know.

I also have $1150 ish in money mostly earmarked (my my parents) for a laptop. I'm planning on getting a gaming one once there exist DX10 graphics cards for laptops.
