ATI drivers 6.9

I was using 6.6 before and had no problems... funny thing is, I decided to update to see if I could get dynamic water to work... and now if dynamic water is turned on the game simply won't boot, gives me an error code... "Error at position 795 when loading fragment program file dwDetailNormal.fp". And the title of the window says "Pr?eded the availible number (8) of full precision interpolants. Example: Using 8 texcoords w..." Maybe if this could be fixed dynamic could work with ATI cards!!! maybe its just an ATI prob? Thanks for any help!

its always an ATi problem... ATI OGL support ftl...
perhaps, when a dev is bored, you can have an option in settings.exe to render in either OGL or DiretX?

I have a Sapphire Radeon X1600 series, and never got any graphical problems. Still no problems after updating Catalyst to 6.9

Nope... the game crashes with an error message with dynamic water turned on. No problems with reflective water, just set it to reflective

So if you want Dynamic Water that badly go buy a Nvidia...but be prepared to pay alot more.

nvidia is cooler anyway. I'm not happy with my x800xl. shoulda gotten a 6800 GT...

An ATI card par to a Nvidia card is much less, but of course Nvidia has the whole OpenGL thing that ATI dosn't give a shit about. I hope AMD buying it out may change that...and Nvidia cards look cooler, but really now, I ain't paying for how cool it looks, Im paying for how cool it plays.

well i woulda gotten Nvidia except, #1 i like tom clancy games, and they're always ATI. #2 my company offers a huge discount off of ATI cards... got like 300+ taken off of my X1900 XT. :D :D
