Just an interesting article of a massive-scale WiFi-ish network that's being planned, tested, implemented, swept under the rug, found, buried, checked, rechecked, .... etc.... until finally now it's being actually set up. And stuff.
Yeah well, it's neat because Canada's going to have a huge area covered with this technology thanks to a partnership between Rogers and Bell... which is strange since publicly these two companies are pretty cutthroat towards each other. On the other hand, they also have a combined monopoly over all internet access in most of Ontario, the only densely-populated area of Canada. Oh and also we have internet access that's 1/10th the speed of Sweden's while remaining at 10x the price. Coincidence, I'm sure.
