If you look to the edges of the map you can see the problem. It changes with every movement of the map. Flickers and stuff.

I use a Geforce FX 5600 card. I had a same issue with one other 3d game, Rome Total War I think it was, it just started in the middle of the game too. Same here as well. Froze up for a minute as if it was loading, then got the scrambled graphics, and continued to get them every time I loaded up the game. I know though that before this scrambled stuff popped up, it was running smooth. I was only doing the test too, didnt even have a chance to battle anyone.

I don't know what to do! I really would like to play this game :X I really hope its not the card, so far its been pretty good to me. I have 1024MB of memory, as well as plenty of space on my HD. I use Windows XP as well.

Anyone got an idea what could be going on?

Does that shit come all over the map? Or just outside it?

Mostly on the outside of the map, but its like a grid pattern sort of, so when you scroll, it moves around, you can see through it sort of, but its really annoying, and probably not a good sign hardware or software wise :P

maybe it has to do with the 16bit and 32bit z-buffer option you can select in settings.exe

Spring and other games have been known to have problems with the FX series of cards.

Well, the default is 32, so I'll change it to 16 and see what happens.

Nope, same problem. Heres another pic of the issue. If I scroll down over land off the edges, it gets less pronounced but there is still a few pixels out of place.

Is your card overheating? Is the fan on the card moving? Doesn't it even have a fan?
