Spring RTS Engine

Hello. Everytime I have tried to play Spring, both Springtest and a private game, Spring refuses to start up, instead giving me the message, "Could not set Video Mode." I searched the FAQ and the Wiki, but could not find anything. Could anyone help?

I get that error message when I have my agp momory aperture set too high... problem with starting the OGL environement...
