In svn rev 1298 SJ implemented a new zooming behaviour for the overhead camera, but it doesn't work entirely correct when zooming out.
To reproduce this bug:
1. start a game (I've tested it on the small divide with XTA 6.0)
2. select your commander with ctrl-c
3. move your mouse cursor to e.g. the lower right of the screen
4. zoom out to the max
5. and voila! suddenly you're all zoomed in again in some different part of the map.
Also I'm not too keen out the mouse-centered zooming out. The zooming in is great, but the zooming out is ... well .. a bit confusing.

Zooming out on the mouse might be useful but it just seems a little counter intuitive.
Atm you can drag the camera in the direction of the mouse by holding down middle button and moving it and you dotn need to click twice. Only it's also coutner intuitive as every other game featuring this drags the mouse instead which means moving the mosue the opposite direction tog et the required result

What's that? "Thank you for reporting a bug before the release so we can fix it?"Tobi wrote:I don't think it's useful to crosspost on forum and mantis...
But seriously, if you really don't think that posting it twice just to get your attention is a bad idea I won't do it again.
I also posted it here because the zooming out behaviour should be changed back IMHO. I just wanted to see how others thought about it.
