Spring RTS Engine

okay i got a fresh install of upspring 1.3. i try following tuts, and they were frustrating me refering to buttons and menus i dont have. then i talk to fizz about it. i send him a screen of my upspring, and he said its messed up. he sends me a pic of his, and i started crying.

... What version is that? 0.9 or something?

It is the only UpSpring on FileUniverse, so it really should work

no it is 1.3, i just re D/Led the link, reinstalled
re setuped, and nothing changed

I downloaded it too again, and it is 1.3 and doesn't show the window you show. You must have downloaded it and then used the old version again... or something

Waitaminute... is the screenshot you just posted YOUR spring or HIS spring? I also had this problem one time when I had both versions installed at the same time and kept accidentally forgetting and opening up the wrong one.

nooo, ive never had a previous version. and why would my read me say 1.3?

look, no matter where i get the new version, 1.3 installs and acts like this. infact ive never had a previous version on this computer. never. why is it acting like this? im debating d/l older version and using that, if the uv options work

That is simply impossible, there is no way a bug would cause complete dialogs to change, menus to dissappear and tabs changed.

You are simply not running 1.3

This is a copy of UpSpring 1.3 straight from my computer, hopefully it will work for you. If not, I have no idea what to say...
