Spring RTS Engine

I can connect to a server, or have people connect to me if I host. But after we're all in and I actually start doing stuff, the game will crash out within the first ten seconds, every time.

I get the error

SHUTDOWN ERROR
Error sending data. 10004

Any help? It was running fine at a friend's house, but here at home it just won't work. I'm running 256k/64k ADSL behind a wireless router; I've opened the appropriate ports and all. (Just the 8452 udp, right?)

I also have seen myself and several others had spring simply close on start for no apparent reason. No crash or anything... it is as though the game was closed.

i had exactly the same problem.

it was a virus.

after i removed it spring worked
