Spring RTS Engine

I have just started tinkering with TA: Spring and i have ran into a small prioblem:

The program has problems if I attempt to run it with the reflections enabled along with the shadows and the reflective water. My system specs are:

AMD Duron 1.3Ghz
512MB RAM
ATI Radeon 9600XT 128MB Video Card
Windows XP Professional

Im assuming those specific options are related to shaders (vertex/pixel) and my video card supports shader model 2.0 and i have since updated the drivers from ATI's website, but the problem remains.

Well you can always don't attempt to put on the shiny effects.

I gave up and i will agree to Zenka's comment of leaving those little extras out, I don't really need them anyway. As for getting new equipment I am a Uni student with little spending money so I can't afford much. Thanks anyway
