Start-up crash

Ever since I got version 7.0b3 I have a crash on the loading screen. It always happens at "Loading units and weapons." I re-installed Spring 3 times and used no mods or AI and it still does it. How do you fix this?

Are there any logs in the spring Directory? They would have a .txt extention. Not all .txt files are logs. Some are config files.

Nevermind it seems turning off shadows has fixed it
