cant watch replays

ok, i tried to watch some replays but i get the same errors each time. i am using the same mod and version of the game. i load it up and errors come up saying that i have missing sound files, then some missing data files but it goes into the game and i get a very dark view of the game. i cant see any of the units, only dark outlines of the map and the start positions. i can see chatting and all the fine. any ideas on what i have to do to view games?

Is it a downloaded replay, or one you recorded your self. If its downloaded, or you recorded it a while ago, you might be missing the mod or map the replay was played on.

it is a downloaded one but i check to make sure that it is the map and mod. if the map is missing, itll kick you out right away. dont know about the mod though but i have AA 1.3, 1.4, 1.41, 1.42 and the ones im trying to watch are 1.41

it might have been recorded in a diferent engine version than 0.67b3 and if i remember correctly you wont be able to see it.
