Spring RTS Engine

So I see that SteamOS has gotten to the point where one can install it on most PCs and was curious if anybody has done so and tried to boot Spring on it (or has the means and time to do so)?

Does it really require uefi support? Has to be doable with bois too, but probably more complicated. Why does the way you boot your OS matter?

I think it was an installation thing... if you check the communities there's an Bootable ISO installer now.
