Try and start an actual discussion with a topic. We had a particular user who used to just post a link with little discussion. Please start a discussion like normal. Irl you don't go hey something happened and shove a magazine at someone. Now if the topic was something like "games com nip slip" or "gamescom video you won't believe this game"

bah, consumer expos always suck. You get free t-shirts, free popcorn, free try-out of for the expo held back games, free tinitus (if you arent loud enough, nobody will notice your game, no matter how good).

GameDev Conferences are cool though. Problem is that the good ones are all in America.
