i remember them advertising this earlier (like. 10 years ago?) just that they used a glass-cube instead. i guess the difference is only in the marketing universe.

i stil prefer the ductape drive - i mean, if you dislike your backup, you can use it to tape posters to the wall :)

I'd like more technical specs; ,how fast to read/write, how many write cycles, etc.
Glass has a lot of advantages over other non-volatile memory. In particular, it can withstand temperatures up to 1800F
Sold! I'm always leaving my usb sticks in industrial ovens.

you to disinfect your usb-stick? And i thought i m the only one who trys to prevent virus-infections this way.

USB-Sticks - you can carry them with you even naked.

You can create artificial ones, just for the datasmuggling. Want to see how long the police is willing to search for this sort of torrent-transport..
