Picasso: It's probably better if we work this out now, instead of letting the passive aggression grow further. I like smoth, and I don't like the fact that he's compelled to act like such a douchebag toward me. I want to get this over with, so that we don't have to fight anymore.

Anyway, on to the post:

I neither pretend to be old nor do I pretend to be mature. I am who I am, and if you interpret my behavior as being that way, then I won't try and stop you from doing so.

You may be thirty(one?), but your age gives you no right to tell me what I can or can't do. I respect you a lot, both as a content creator and as a person, and am always open to your advice. More often than not, though, what you've been doing is not dispensing advice. Rather, you've been being a self-rightuous twat (to use your word), and interjecting short snippets of buzz-kill next to the things I post or chat. It's very much akin to having someone follow you around and yell "DON'T LISTEN TO HIM, HE'S NOT IMPORTANT!" after everything you say. O_o

I don't like raising a fuss about petty things like this, but it's really bothersome, and I figure it's better to confront you about it instead of getting myself worked up. It also bothers me that you spend so much time yelling at me (and lots of other people) when you could be producing some of the awesome stuff you're known for.

One other thing: You seem to be in the vast minority when you say that you believe I am a bit of a prick. Have you considered the validity of imposing your unique world-view on other people?

Corsair sees it to mid. Just that before I kept asking him to hold back on you thinking it was a stage. So it isn't just me.

Between the two of us though, I find it funny you would cite my posting or chatting with you in a hostile manner hurting my productivity. I just recently got the fgjl back in proper working order(actually better than that) fixed the animations of around 100 units, worked more on my narrow valley remake and did 2 new models these past two weekends. And you have done?

Just saying don't call me out on productivity.

Picasso, I believe in working things out when they show up if I think they can be(some people here cannot work that way) so it doesn't really bother me.

You two are very similar people.

I've been working on some non-spring projects, making a dynamic level generator, learning how to do 2D game graphics and decent Lua, and traveling across the world, but that's not central to the discussion.

You have a very conservative view on things. You have strong ideas about what age says about wisdom and about what peoples' attitudes ought to be like, and you feel yourself entitled to press your beliefs onto others.

I don't want to be perceived as a jerk and I try to keep an open mind to any advice or criticism I receive, but I won't allow others to take advantage of those tendencies of mine to try and shape the way I behave. I am a person. Telling me what to do based on your view of the world and harraguing me if I don't obey is tantamount to self-rightuousness in the extreme.

Using a term like entitled is a cheap attempt to devalue my point. Do it again and i can be venimous as well. I am stating an opinion, you see it as a mandate, that's cool if you want to give me this much power. Passively implying i am a jerk conservative forcing his world view on you is chickenshit. I'd give you a nicer way of describing it but i am diseclined to be as polite when you posture yourself on moral highground while lacing a post with oassive aggressive barbs.
