Just use a folder

so u used xmass avatar for like whole last year (at least) and just before xmass u change it.

Skyhumans always archiving things, but when the last pixel is butchered, the last signature is used up, can you eat your avatars?

Uhm, not to be a wet blanket, but is there really a discussion to be had here? Your avatars are part of your history, but if you want to talk about it, you could do better with a general thread or - even better - a personal blog.

You see them in tv and web pages and in magazines and on billboards and ads on busses and most people with smart phones that have cameras have apps to read them (I had to look it up online using http://zxing.org/w/decode.jspx then had to copy him using http://zxing.appspot.com/generator/ )
