That new game is called Journey for the PS3! I have to play this game when it is released. It sounds like fun!

http://kotaku.com/5566573/journey-from- ... -explained

"Journey, a game that's about singing, sand, hiking, cloth, surfing, astronauts and feeling small. And, in a radical departure for the team, it uses two whole buttons."

"Players, as the spindly character wearing a red robe, can walk, run and jump around the world. They can "surf" down sand dunes, ride waves of rippling sand and even draw sketches in it with their feet. Chen confirms that people have already drawn penises in Journey's sand."

Singing helps the player collect strips of fabric which will harmonize with other cloth players in the world. :?: The teaser article doesn't specify what is meant by this.

thatgamecompany is awesome for coming out with so many new and innovative games!

Have you played Minecraft Panda? If you want a game to just wander around in I'd have to cast my vote for that one. I spent a couple hours the other night trying to map my continent with cartographer. Manufacturing giant birds eye glyphs and collecting papyrus, clay, and cactus along the way. I ended up getting lost and had to dig to find materials for a compass to make my way back home.

That game is sick.

I thought these games required drugs to function.

Play Amnesia. Better horror, less need for augmentation.

No, because I haven't had time to play anything lately. However, the holidays are coming up and I may have some time then. I think that Minecraft looks like a cool game too!

No, that would probably kill me, but if I get sick and have to take medication, such video games are helpful to have.

Is it more suspenseful that Fatal Frame II?

Define "suspenseful". Amnesia does a REALLY good job of pacing out the story, and the monsters are outright terrifying if you treat the game with a little respect.

Definition of suspenseful from dictionary.com:
"a state or condition of mental uncertainty or excitement, as in awaiting a decision or outcome, usually accompanied by a degree of apprehension or anxiety."

What do you mean by treating the game with a little respect?

Speaking primarily of it's predecessors... I've heard some things have changed but some are still similar... Anyways, in Penumbra (the previous title the developer worked on before Amnesia) you can basically always just run away from enemies. So as long as you pick your path correctly and don't get yourself stuck on walls you can ignore the existence of enemies and just run by them.

I consider this disrespectful to the game. If you play the game the way it's intended, and avoid being seen by enemies, and only run away when you're legitimately shit your pants scared, it's INTENSELY powerful. If you "test" the AI, you can most likely make it break, and then you won't really get the whole gravity of what that game does to you psychologically. I'm not sure if it's true, but it would be beneficial to believe that every enemy can run faster than you, and will do so if given the chance.

If played respectfully Amnesia is the most suspenseful horror game I can think of.

What if you find that the game doesn't legitimately scare you to where you feel you have to run away? Perhaps you feel detached. You would have to figure out some other way to play the game then even if you aren't trying to be disrespectful.

i think swift means you play the game with the mindset of "ololol its a pc game lets find some bugs" its not impressive. imo same with horror movies, if you do not get into the mood they are not scary.

Ya, what I'm saying is that the AI is good, but not so good that it won't break if you really push it. If you don't try to break the AI, the game is terrifying, if you do, it loses it's edge.
