Spring RTS Engine

BLAH BLAH BLAH DW is stale... blah blah blah well guess what people buy it and I am one of them.

recently we found out GP-01 and GP-02 are going to be in as well but CHRIST deathscythe OMG excited!

Anyway im getting this.

I miss the dynasty warriors series and wanted to try the gundam versions.

No, I love the wing designs, tallgeese and leo are in my top 10 of mech designs.

So what's it going to be - a typical Soul-Calibur style combo-oriented fighting game, but with Gundam mechs? My favourite Gundam game is still the Battle Assault series.

It is like dynasty warriors, slash slash special special.

Differences from normal dw games:

• different combos can be used to activate different weapons. For example: wing's beam rifles can be used on it's string 3 combo.
  
  Different pilots can use different mechs
  
  You can pilot even the grunt suits
  
  Suits that can transform are able to fly for a limited period of time

I still have not cleared the second dw:gundam, I am >150 hours into it. We have not been told much about the combo/special(musou) system this game will use but I expect different weapons to be in different combo strings as in the previous 2 games.

I primarily play char but if you want a more shooty character go amuro, heero or kamillie.

Gundam MKII, one of favorite suits, pit this guy doesn't use many of it's combo weapons effectively.

Gundam Wing had some pretty sweet MS's would be nice to play tallgeese (is it already possible in the others?)

nope. we do not get much in the way of tallgeese love in any game and in the next gundam vs gundam we only get tallgeese 3 >:| this next game only has wing, epyon and deathscythe hell(which is a new addition) we were all hoping for deathscythe. tallgeese and heavy arms but hey deathscythe is a more than welcome addition!

yeah. It was an awesome suit in simple form. Flys hella fast shoots the piss out of people. WIN.. later version tries too much to be an epyon/wing hybrid.

Damn, did not know Deathscythe is in. Badass. Always baffled by the absence of Gundam Wing and G Gundam MS's.

Excited about GP-01 and GP-02 though. Does GP-03 not make an appearance?

It would only be stamen not orchis So kinda pointless I am curios how they are going to make gp01 interesting being that it is pretty vanilla

Hmmm, I guess just a cool moveset? If it was Fb they could implement the whole speed thing.

FB is only fast in space. It is a "space kit" applied to the gp01 so it can do things like actually move around in space. Prior to the addition even with ambac calculations it was ill-equiped for space movement due to it having ground war centric vernier. Kou is a fantastic pilot but compaired to the likes of char who is a fantastic pilot and newtype or kamille/judau/amuro who are all powerful newtypes he is pretty much waiting to die.

Deathscythe is a stealth gundam. Don't argue it, that is what it is. In the series the thing would show up in the middle of a base and kill everyone. The scythe blades can do scythe or spear form of variable length and direction. going anything from scythe->halberd->spear if desired. The deathscythe is also made of super strong alloy that pretty much renders most weapons useless and those flaps are strictly armor plates for approaching targets(along with additional jamming). That is what the deathscythe is.. a fucking darktemplar.

It's Gundam Wing. Wing was more of a super-hero show that happens to feature giant robots. Most of the other Gundam shows included maybe a sword as a secondary weapon, but still focused on guns.

The Wing mechs that did feature firearms would frequently run out of ammo after destroying hundreds of foes, so the melee weapon fallbacks really were necessary.

I forgot it was specifically for space. I always appreciated 0080 and 0083 for not being so Newtype focused. I mean, technically the GP's were better than RX-78, so that could be considered it's "edge"

I don't think KOEI thinks or cares too much about these kinds of things though.

You don't know what minovsky particles are do you Basic?

No doubt, you have to figure at least magnetic coating but 0083 breaks a lot of canon tech. Still the suit is a zeon federating hybrid so it is possible the performance numbers are really that good. Even so, it doesn't hold a candle to the mkII or zeta.. Then again, the only data on the rx78 series is balleeted when the mkII was made
