Sarcasm and general smoth mimicry aside. I would like to see some more maps be made. I have about 10 or 15 height maps waiting to be "mapafied" but time is finite. Knorke working on a map too i believe. Check in the springmapedit thread. Gota you could always join in the party, map making can by very rewarding.

Does that map have metal spots?

Yeah just not in the texture.

I meant Maps meant for TA.
Your maps are nice,it's a shame they dont have visible metal spots and while playable they arent ideal for TA sizewise.

While many like big/huge maps i would like some more small/medium maps.

So what you really want to ask is where are the *a mappers? Well you guys have >1300 maps why bother when only about 10 of them get played.

Wicked shame you let Mex spots keep you from playing them. Equally pathetic is the lack of effort to make a spot placer widget.

No,lack of visible metal spots does not stop me from playing.
Just a 20x20 map means it takes ages to get to players which means less t1 play,more air spam and very long games..

Why dont you make maps then?

This. Also, there's like over 3000 maps. Enough to keep you going on one new map per day for like a year probably.

But most of those maps arent very good... Both visually and design-wise. Ofc there's also old good maps that dont get much play too, I wont deny that.

Also Knockout by Fc/Phantom is cool and quite recent. Well there might be less maps published than before, but it's still a bearable situation, at least the maps that do come out tend to be of a pretty nice quality.

if only 5% of that 1300 are good then you guys have 65 maps dude.

its fun to have some 'training partner' and test new/old maps. me and raid used to pick random number out of 2k-3k maps in the maplist. u would be amazed how many good maps we got.

What were the best then?

sadly raid raged from spring some time ago, coz nobody wanted to join his 'not ba host'. dont expect me to remember name of every map we played once :D i remember frozenplanet was our most interesting 'discover' (sounds so stupid in spring lol, map is old), cool 1v1/2v2 map.

seriously, just pick totally random number and enjoy.

also dont forget about forbs maps like canyon redux and desert gully i think

Most maps are either visually ugly,have a bad metal map and metal amounts or have shit/boring heightmaps....
