Spring RTS Engine

Ok i got 2 childhood memories of movies and i wanna know what those movies are.
Both of the movies or tv series(i don't rem if it was a movie or series) ar eprobably 80s/early 90s

the first:
This is the one i'm not sure about it being a movie or a series.
What i remember is there was some sort of alien that comes to earth and it can burrow underground.
I think it can disguise as human but in its true form its terrifying(or was for me as a kid :))
Someone is obviously after him perhaps another good alien or just someone form earth.
There is a scene i remmeber from it that scared me when i was little.
I think it takes place in the alien's spaceship.
Someone is hidding in some dark place either a closet or a dark room and there is a crack of light coming in(probably cause the door to that place is a bit open).
as this someone is hidding in that place he sees the evil alien passing outside through this opening.

Second film:
This i am sure is a movie.
It strts off with some people that are outside and it starts to rain but the rain is acid rain so they find some lab to hide in...
In that lab there is some creature....
All i remember past that is that the creature doesn't kill them exactly but does something else to them.

I've never heard of any movies like that, but they sound like interesting sci fi movies. The first one kind of reminds me of that book Grendel from Beowulf, only Grendel isn't an alien.

Iv gone through tons of sci-fi films im pretty sure the disguising alien thing is a series or mini series but i don't know which and i cant find any list of series about aliens or something..
It also might be a tv movie...

My first thought was Screamers, but I'm quite sure that's not it...

Yeah screamers is cool but its not that...

The alien is monstrous like some sort of gross bug and he can tunnel under the ground and im pretty sure it can disguise as a human...
Problem is the only thing i remember properly is that one scene..

For underground monsters, there are the pretty awesome Tremors movies of course.

mimic is an awesome b movie! very underated imo,however its not it.

I remember being terrified at Tremors as a kid. But now I know, it's just a rip!





The spice must flow
