Spring RTS Engine

My friend has an ATI x1200 chip. All games he plays have those ugly black bars around them. I told him to go to CCC advanced mode then to graphics, then desktops and displays to fix his problem. The thing is he does not have desktops and displays option. He's using the most up to date version located here: http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/w ... ng=English

Any ATI users know why he does not have this option? And how to fix his underscan problem?

Can't you edit the system resolution in windows system settings?

He only has these problems when he's playing games to my knowledge.

Native resolution should always work.

Also my screen itself does the scaling I can switch it on and off in the menu.
