In retrospect, I still think that allow people to turn anything in typed is bad.

When I'm a comp sci prof I'll require my students to hand in programming assignments on scrolls in cursive.

That might actually have kept me in those classes.

And then.....
PAPYRUS
RUN FOR YOUR LIVES.
I was waiting for Papyrus to show up that whole time. I'm so disappointed.

I hate how everyone has a blind hate for Comic Sans. Everyone just jumped on the "Comic Sans is unacceptable" bandwagon without a true reason. I think all fonts are equally stupid, and handwriting is even worse.

I assume you don't need to understand what they're writing.

What? You don't use hearts? What kind of man are you?

Yup, I'm just like every other comp sci prof. Roll a dice and your mark is whatever comes up times 16.

If your cursive is illegible, you don't deserve a score.

it's faster to write since you can write words as mostly contiguous tracts without taking off the tip from the sheet ( also leads to less ink stains when using a non-ballpoint pen ), it also reveals more personality traits than block, on the other hand cursive is easier to screwup and apparently some individuals are unable to read it ( I only heard from third party, did not meet anyone personally who cannot )

I can read the picture but I'd much prefer to be reading block printed. Cursive makes it hard to figure out new words, the letters are harder to distinguish and can vary a lot from person to person.

That's partially true, but "proper" cursive is no faster than plain writing, people who write for speed generally settle in some hybrid of cursive and plain writing.
I can read cursive, but it's more annoying to read, and imo much slower to write. And the fact that it's a huge part of learning to read and write at a young age still makes me pretty
To each their own I guess, we all know typing is the fastest and easiest to read though.
