ESXi 4.1 vs 3.5?

Does anyone know if there's a large performance gain in changing from ESXi 3.5 to 4.1?

I've been trying to buy hardware which ESXi accepts, but that's not going to well... so I'm wondering if it's even worth it?

(ESXi is vmware's OS)
