Iv been playing Oblivion With a mod called Ocsuro's Overhaul.
This mod is well, amazing. It changes so much of the game and adds so many well balanced stuff...
It redesigns half of the game.
Here is a video, just jump towards the end and read what has been added and changed.
This is a must addon if you want ot play oblivion,on top of adding tons of stuff it eliminates and changes a lot of the annoying parts.

Now,Morrowind:
What I am looking for is something similar just for morrowind.
There is already this:

This is only a GFX overhaul.
It seems morrowind modding was punched in the face after oblivion was released, all the mods info is completely scattered and there are no big unficiation kits or big projects that are easy to find.
If anyone knows about some good mods for morrowind please post.

Basically I dislike everything that outrages Requiem for a Dream soundtrack (though its just the video)
Anyway, how much this oblivion mod fixes all the flaws of the original oblivion? Like levelling up issues - puny wolfs etc. levelling up same time as your character?

There is no leveling up with you aside from some exceptions, like the guards i think but they also have capps. Most things do not level with you.
There are just places now where there are high level creatures...Far away from the capital and far from cities you will find very tough creatures etc..
It improves the game tons but its still doesn't have the same awesome atmosphere and differently designed places morrowind had, unfortunately.

love morrowind.
oblivion was silly in a lot of ways (beyond the levelling thing, i really missed my jump and levitate spells)
still waiting on tamriel rebuilt, but i was reading their forum and apparently it'll be another 4-6 years before anything resembling a complete game comes out of there (however you can already grab i think three completed game areas with small quests, they are waiting to finish the entire world before a "main quest" is made as i understand... makes the game work 3 or 4x as big as original MW)
heh some of oblivion was fun; glarthir (remember that guy? the paranoid rich guy who pays you to spy on his friends? he was fun) and the adoring fan... awesomeness.
kind of enjoyed some of the smaller morrowind mods, i remember playing this uber difficult ghost fortress mod that was designed to be played with high level characters and still give them difficulty

OK i have found out about something even more epic,It's called FCOM convergence and its a mod for morrowind that fuses together 4 already huge mods.
It has not yet reached v1.0 but a beta version is available for download and it changes huge amounts of the game.
It adds thousands of quality armor pieces and weapons.thousands of new creatures, creeps dont level, many mechanics redone or rebalanced.
One of the mods inside FCOM(called MMM) apparently has some very sophisticated AI for creatures and faction warfare.
In short it takes 4 big, quality mods and converges them.
Fcom(creature/faction warfare ai,tons of new content,proper rebalance,no leveling creatures,and tons of other shit i forgot already )
+
deadly reflexes for an amazing combat experience(both you and the AI can use many new combat moves which makes combat much deeper and more engaging)
+
Natural environments which makes everything look way better.
+
Transportation netwrok mod(basiclly adds transportation from certain towns to others just like it was in Morrowind instead of Oblivion's fast travel, uses boats wagons and the mage guilds)
+
Cyrodiil Terrain Color Map by whisselj which makes the map look awesome.
+
Btmod for a much more convenient UI experiance.
Get all these and experiance Oblivion without all the shitty parts plus tons of new content and a much more engaging gameplay.
I recommend this pack strongly,It's literally like playing oblivion 1.5.

all looks quite awesome (fast travel, non-levelling creeps ftw, all in one massive modification.)
one question... any new quests? i can't seem to find any mention of this, just lots of crazy gameplay upgrades... what i really would love to see alongside this massive gameplay upgrade is some freshness
although, i guess there are some official expansions at this point that i haven't played....
edit : o0o looks like they fixed ranged attacks

I must say the installation process for all of this is pretty long and not user friendly.
I hope they will simplify it when they reach 1.0 but ATM if you want it prepare to invest some work into it.
I think its worth it though.

OK,i found a super pack of both FCOM and many other awesome mods.
Its all bundled together as one awesome install, easy to use.
Like the creator writes "the content is not for content's sake, all the mods are planned to be compatible, and give REALISM, IMMERSION and BALANCE, but first of all STABILITY."
This is for the moment the ultimate oblivion pack IMO.

This probably doubles the size of the oblivion folder(including shivering isles and knights of the nine).
I suggest you Google some of the included content just to understand how awesome this pack is.
