I own 3 displays, 2 ati cards, and battleforge. Why can't I do this?

I really wonder how useful that is, in the demo how much was happening in the peripheric screens?
Not much.
This feature might become cool when they make screens that dont have a frame so there are no black bars in between.

after a while of having 3 screens, you (or at least I) don't really notice the black bars anymore.
I agree with you that the utility of the idea is dubious, but I think it makes up for that by being really cool looking.

Haha, buy 2 extra screens so you can render some walls?

Well, if you already have 2 extra screens, it's 'buy some expensive adapters and a new gfx card so that you can render some walls."
...which is why my 2 extra screens are going to waste right now.

I am curious how hard would it be to unscrew those screens and remove the "black bars" in the middle between them, afterall, the ACTUAL screen has nearly no edge.

the hardest part is mounting it in something after you remove the bezel

Bah, No big deal, you have been able to run 3 monitors with nvidia cards for a while now (enabling quadro features with certain applications). Now 3 monitors like that all running 3d would be a big deal!
OH WAIT.
Oh god that would be awesome. Not fanboying or anything, just putting this out there.....

looks like nvidia can do their version of eyefinity (nvidia surround) without their newest cards - just needs gtx 200 series cards.

Thank you for affirming that my next card will be an NVidia.
..And I take it you don't need expensive adapters either?
EDIT: Just checked: you don't, but all of your monitors must have the same resolution.

but it's not so bad to run your 1920x1200 monitor at 1080p

3 screens is cool but not really new, it has been possible for years.
whats better about this thing?

its cool for racing games, you can see cars beside you.
or flight games or any other game where you want a "i am in a cockpit" feeling instead of "i am sitting at my desk clicking at heads"

If I can do that and run my games on all 3 screens, then my computer-assisted recreation will be significantly happier.

You people are so dense. Why can't you just come to the logical conclusion of
ONE BIG SCREEN

I find multiple screens better than a single bigger screen to be best for productivity; organizing multiple windows to multiple screens is much easier and quicker than juggling tiled windows on one screen, even with windows 7's facilitative features for this. For gaming, using a single one of the screens is generally alright (particularly because this lets you see other windows such as messaging clients at the same time). I do agree that gaming on multiple monitors does have issues, though.

its badass, i recommend it to anyone.
after some reflection, this super-wide FOV allowed by the triple monitor would be great for car racing and possibly dogfight sims
also looking at the BC2 demo on there, i think it could be pretty damn useful for snipers... you can cover the whole horizon!
sports games... see the whole pitch in FIFA or W11 ?
