I was wondering if it really is beneficial for a country to be in it.
It is suppose to be an advanced organization that has high standards but there are some very unstable members in it,like Greece Oo...
How could Greece, with its long history of bad policy and managment on a national scale, have become an OECD member if the OECD has such high standards?

I read it and I got the impression that the OECD strives to improve countries, rather than as an elite membership of countries that are already well off.

OECD consists of developed countries dedicated to democracy.

Believe it or not, Greece is very high HDI country with higher GDP/capita than Israel and better democracy track record.

The fact that its government has debts changes nothing. Many countries do.

Many countries used to solve similar problems with inflation (notably Italy)
Problem of Greece is that it cannot control its own currency.

Many countries went on deficit spending during crisis:

(Max allowed deficit in eurozone is 3% GDP)

The OECD is mainly a information network, it compares the developments in its members, concentrating on education (PISA-Studys e.g.), migration, pensions, corruption, enviromental data - it helps you by showing you a first place and a last place, and giving you advice in wich direction you should move.

Its school studys are feared in germany, as they show how unfair and birthbiased our school system really is. So you could say that its main powertool is shame (and it works, to that degree, that many country conduct tests on there own, so they can claim that PISA & Co dont tell them anything new)

Lets provoke some teabaggers, no teabeggars, noo what was it called again, oh yes, the teaparty movement, named after the mad hatters little council in wonderland- well, i always wondered, if they dont trust the state to distribute the money fair, why dont get permission from the state for every taxpayer to check the wereabouts and spending of his money, even in razzias. If you dont want to life from wellfare, its no big deal, to get that visit, and let them have a look on your paperwork. Or is that too much work? Checks and balances are fine, as long ass they do not depend on getting your ass up? But youve got time to protest every weekend? Surely moar fun than reading bookkeepings, but still makes you a lazy asshat, with not reason to be proud about that.
