The Knesset Health and Environment Committee will initiate a process of extending the opening hours of beaches until sundown, committee chair Dov Henin (Hadash) decided Monday. The Knesset Internal Affairs and Environment subcommittee met to discuss the state of the beaches on Monday. Currently, beaches close at 5 p.m.
ÔÇ£ItÔÇÖs ridiculous that the public is receiving the message that they must come to the beach during the hottest part of the day ÔÇô the part of the day with the most dangerous radiation,ÔÇØ Henin said. ÔÇ£We will initiate a move to extend the hours until sundown, which gets later and later during the summer.ÔÇØ
This doesn't make any sense.

This doesn't make any sense.
I'm pretty sure They mean until what time the life guards are there.You can enter the beach at any time.

It has to do with solar radiation and the adverse health effects of too much sun.

Yes skin cancer is an issue in Israel cause of the big number of light skinned people in a very intense sun radiation zone.

the administration of israel is predominatly genocidal, and for some reason this is supported by the western world
