Spring RTS Engine

Date: 16th January 2010 - Saturday
Time: General organization and setup will begin at 6:00PM/18:00 GMT - Games should begin at 6:30 or earlier if all players are ready
Type: 1 vs 1 - First player to win 2 games progresses - Final round will be the first player to win 3 games wins the tournament
Players: 16
Mod: Balanced Annihilation V7.04
Rank Limit:Only players over rank 4 can participate
Brackets: Brackets will be manually balanced by myself, feel free to give your own suggestions to balancing the players after I've made my decisions though.
Map Balance: I understand some maps can be imbalanced and some start positions may be greater than others. This is why both players are going to switch positions after each game is played. The final positions if needed will be decided via virtual rock, paper, scissors.
Registration: Players can register for the tournament any time after 12:00PM Midnight on the 16th (Tournament day). This is to prevent players signing up when they don't know if they'll be able to make it. You don't have to be around all day, you just need to register on the same day as the tournament, before it starts.

Rules:

• No Com Dropping in the enemy's half of the map before 10 minutes.
• No Dgunning the enemy Com
• No Combombing
• If either player becomes unsynced at any point in the game, the syncs will be tested to find if they're genuine or not. If they are, the game doesn't count a rematch will be enforced
• Com Ends - If your Com dies, you're out as long as none of the above rules are broken

Cause there's a fair amount going on where I'm from in these two weeks. Exams are why I couldn't be around this Sunday and a few others too. I'm ok for next Sunday if anybody else can't play on Saturday?

It's just, Saturday is best for me because I'm free all day and Sunday I'm doing things.

Please dont use apophis, its extremely unbalanced and more of a tech demo than a true tourney map. Use quoth instead, with players choice of sunny or rainy.

I'm already using Quoth. But ok, I'll pick a different map.

I'd love to play especially since triton isn't playing but I doubt i'll have my pc by then so I probably won't be able to play. Maybe the next saturday after this one I could.

And yes, this tourney is still on. A fair few people have stated they'd prefer it on a Sunday but this is a set tourney. I'm going to make another tourney after this week on Sunday. Maybe another 2v2 tourney or something more interesting...

guess ill watch this tourney only cos my map is being used :p

I might participate, depends on my plans... however, I suck at ba so I will probably lose .
