SpringLobby won't compile

Post by mageta »

Hej Guys,

yesterday I tried to get the lobby to run under my Gentoo but I failed on compiling the stuff you provide via your overlay.
It is complaining about missing tokens (like "(", ")" and ";") in several code-files. Can't imagine that this is your fault (would be to bad ;)). More likely cmake is doing something wrong (only a suggestion).

I gathered some information that could be useful:

Code: Select all

emerge --info =games-util/springlobby-0.46
	http://pastebin.com/f55413466

emerge -pqv =games-util/springlobby-0.46
	[ebuild N ] games-util/springlobby-0.46 USE="sound torrent -debug"

build.log
	http://pastebin.com/f44d2eba8

environment
	http://pastebin.com/f2f925eda
would be nice if someone could have a look into this.

regards,
- Mageta

Oh it is most certainly 'our' fault, even mostly mine ;-)
It's the same error source over and over again, not multiple. The build system's definition of AUX_VERSION is screwed. I'm not entirely sure why and how tho, cause it works for me (tm). Auswaschbar and I should figure that out today/tommorow.
If you're anxious to get going, an earlier version like 0.44 will not have the problem.
Or get a 0.46 tarball and follow http://springlobby.info/projects/spring ... FromSource

Oh and sry about the German warning and error-texts in the build.log. I totally forgot about them :D
