Spring RTS Engine

Here's the current content :

TASClient is the old multiplayer battleroom, which is now unmaintained and partially outdated. Can still be user to set up multiplayer games without bots.

Which is almost totaly wrong. Let's see :

Why not. Although it is pejorative. You can say it is not official.

Wrong. You can play with bots for ages. It also has a dedicated single player frontend to play against bots.


SO PLEASE MAKE A TEXT PROPOSAL TO CORRECT THAT.

couldnt we add a button for more informations (e.g. pics, pros /cons of the lobby)?

SpringLobby:

The default, cross-platform battleroom used to set up single- and multiplayer games and finding opponents.
Note: You must install either TASClient or SpringLobby to play.

TASClient:

The classic, windows only battleroom, includes news showcast and other extras.

maybe possible, but way to much work, plus lobby devs had no access to it, but had to ask engine devs for every little change... way too unpractical. would probably be done best with just inserting a link to the homepages.

I really don't care, no one reads descriptions in installer anyways.

there is no news in tasclient anymore because forb is too nOOb to maintain his website correctly

that's not true at all, power users always read the description to not install the spam crap a lot installers include by default

So having the name at the top isn't maintaining it correctly? Or maybe you're referring to the website that I run and work on in my spare time (which I haven't had any lately), or maybe you're referring to the community website that I started in order to get some decent info out to newbies and help people out with what is going on around here (without having to scour forums), or maybe you're referring to the website I started in order to properly advertise things in spring to new or prospective users...

Yeah, real mismanagement going on here. Oh btw thanks to the rest of the community for helping me out with it... Oh wait, the community didn't. Wow I should feel really bad for not constantly updating it because I obviously don't have a life or a job that is more important...

Satirik has full control over what he nabs from forbs site, there's nothing stopping him from doing a search and replace on the downloaded html to remove the banner before putting it in tasclient.
