Spring RTS Engine

so i have OTA but i dont know how to get the content into the spring folder... as in which file to transfer
can anyone help with this?

I also have the expand and exterminate working, but bots spawn in the top left corner

You don't need to get the OTA content into the spring folder..
Just download a mod,like Supreme Annihilation for example,and play it on the map of your choice...

i play a game called Ace Online and a few people from that game play this... i had OTA but never really cared about it

In SpringLobby, under the Singleplayer tab, there is a checkbox "Spectate only". Use the "Add bot..." button and select an AI.

I do that, but when the game starts, it asks me to "Choose start pos" and when i join the game, the AI starts in the top left

Yes, playing with bots is broken in current version. Try to get an earlier or a later version of Spring.
