The redness happens when you rename the .smt file. Either rename it back to its original name, recompile the map with the new name, or bust out the hex editor to edit the .smt's name in the .smf

you can't really see the hills difference in height well, is there anything i can do to fix this? like chance the slopey texture?

Use SpringMapEdit, its a wonderful tool.
Or use l3dt or WICed to texture.

yeah, i made some of this with spring map edit, but mostly just made blank maps then filled them in with the GIMP, so they'd all be the right size, then i would export them as a smd... or whatever it's calledBeherith wrote:Use SpringMapEdit, its a wonderful tool.
