Spring RTS Engine

I cannot start the Springdownloader.
I get three messeges, after this the downloader is closed again.
I did everything as said in the message, didnt helped, even reinstalled. Playing works. The DLL is in place too.

Can somone help me?

It is a known bug, will hopefully be fixed soon... You are on Vista64?

Try moving Spring out of the Program Files folder.

Well, i'm having since 2 days (date when i installed vista 64) the same problem, but from a couple of hours it seems to be solved:

what i did was simply uncheck from my antivirus' autoscan the spring folder.

Note that i have all windows "protect" stuff disabled, like defender and so called firewall.

EDIT: its not fixed... Worked for some minutes and gone again...

Re-EDIT: seem to work only with the AV trick and opening the downloader BEFORE TASClient. mmh.

Yes Vista 64. Interesting is, that it worked for around two days.

I quote myself to correct myself.
It's not solved, seems the percentage of failure lowered a bit, but its not solved.

I cannot debug this bug, i dont have vista64, need vista64 developer to help.

this one does not use unitsync (but cannot seed/see your own mods and maps)

I will release update for SD shortly to auto switch to unitsync-less mode.
