I have moved away from the energy and metal system. I also removed the ammunition cost because esp in the case of the rx79 series because they carry several reloads on them and probably will not expend it all in an engagement.
mmm maybe i'm too newbye to have the knowhow (at least on spring :D) but at least for my flavour of game, having to reload the m.s. will
add fun and tactics, maybe is just that i don't like the zerglings life..

It was to my understanding that because of the minovsky reactors mobile suits may walk around and move indefinitely. If they do have limitations it would be only in space due to small amounts of propellant.
ah.. ok, my memories (maybe wrecked.. ) remember me of bazooka
like zaku firing one volley then dropping and going gun and melee..
and m.s. firing some missiles volley then stopping using that..

The game sees very large battles and reloading all the common mobile suits would become extremely tedious. Right now melee isn't in because the melee support isn't there. It will be added some day but right now I have not due to limitations.

moment are unknow items to me, i'll see and probably the reload
factor can become nasty... (but large battles with reloading are
for my mind something that can be very exciting.. m.s. and zaku
fininishing ammo may be grouped and moved back.. with
2nd lines come in to reinforce.. :DD )
probably the AI and the lua scripts have to submit hard rework
to adapt to the ammo system.. but this can be a very high
add-on..

Well it is being considered, special weapons like the zgok's missiles are limited in ammo as is the ammo for the kampfer. Doms also are known to have limited ammunition. Because I want to focus on large battles I have to make on special suits have limited ammunition but we are looking at adding one for some ms, it seems that there is an interest here so I am going to put it on the pile of stuff that is to be done.
nice to know.. (IMVHO) ammo limit are a very balancing things and
in RTS often the game end with zerg hordes.. having them forcing to restocking can reduce the horde effect

Hmm, I had taken out the shield blow off code because I thought people hated it. I can look at adding it back for you. It will be some work but I'll work on it. Right now the shields do not offer a bonus as they are just part of the firing animation. I like the idea suggested that they could maybe move slow with shields raised and defense increased. I will look into adding it.

Gundam is a work in progress so some things are not added yet also some things are not added because I want to try and allow for ease of use. I cannot add all suggestions but I am always open for discussion and if you want to make a mutator to show me how you would like to see something work I am more than willing to take a look.
