Spring RTS Engine

Hey,
Some time ago I saw that Spring and ATI Graphic Cards have some problems like no shadows, no Dynamic Water and game crashes. Is that still the case? I want to buy a new card, HD 4870, and it's important that Spring runs fine (I can't live without it +_+). The problems were on machines with X600 and X800.

spring runs fine on a 4850 with maxed details. dunno about dynamic water, since I prefer bumpwater, but shadows work.

Dynamic water doesn't work, everything else in Spring does (including all features of CA's LUPS).

shore waves dont.

Good point. Shore waves (part of bump water) also don't work.

Its so much cooler with them...
