How do they calculate projected ad revenue? Is it assumed that the site will go full on with massive ads and adwords everywhere with flash banners plastered everywhere? Or just for a single banner on top?

isnt the value defined by the number of people visisting the site per month for advertising purposes?

Faq says it has actual visit data from few websites (likely those with affiliated ads or counters or similar spying-enabling stuff) and then analyses links to estimate how many people reach the final site..

So basically its very rough approximation based on number of links that lead to this domain.

It also uses alexa spyware for information about real visits.

This board gets plenty of wow ads. Does the board make money from them? Maybe thats where the projected ad revenue comes from...
