Spring RTS Engine

first of all,when i installed Spring,the CAdownloader shortcut was bad
so i figured,ok must be the SpringDownloader now,i changed that..
when i tried to start the battleroom, i got the following
(please note that this is clean install after playing 1 singleplayer game against AI)

1st tab:
title - TASclient
Access violation at adress 00403FAC in module 'TASclient.exe'. Read of adress FFFFFFD5.

2nd tab:
title - Error
An error occured while loading replay blah blah mapname blah blah because script file is bad
(i can really live with this one)

3rd tab:
title - TASclient - application error
The operation completed successfully. (o rly?)
3 buttons, OK ; Send Report (grayed out) ; Details >> (contents of that are in the attached .txt)
if i press OK on this tab i get a typical windows error window that program crashed


now, if i manually run springlobby i get this
Spring Error
Couldn`t get your spring versions from any unitsync library.
Online play is currently disabled.
(if i try to join a MP game anyway im told i got incompatible version)

i could really use some help with this,i`ve been toying with it for few hours now and since i have this game for the first time im kinda lost

you can try to update your tasclient version with :

http://tasclient.it-l.eu/TASClientLatestOfficial.7z

i fixed the problem by ignoring the error windows and selecting update from the battleroom
seriously tho,these kinds of obvious bugs shouldnt even get there
